Create your account and submit your debtors details. You’ll need all your, and their, company details handy to complete this.

We’ll issue an LBA to your debtor, informing them of your intention to start legal action and send you a copy of the letter for your records.

Your client will pay you directly within 7 days. If this doesn’t happen, we’ll work with you to decide the next steps in recovering your debt.

Letter Before Action

This is the first step we take to recover your debt and ‘repair’ a situation which has occurred with one of your customers. Typically 80% of debts are recovered in this phase. Once your customer realises that you take late payments seriously and that you are not willing to simply let the debt roll on, most companies will pay.

A Letter Before Action (LBA) is really simple and cost effective. It will take only 5 minutes of your time and cost £10, sent standard delivery. If you would like us to send it recorded delivery (this makes sure that it gets to the recipient) the
cost is £12.

Tell us your details, and the details of the invoice and debtor, and we will send an LBA on the same day (LBA’s requested after 4pm or requested over a weekend will be sent the next working day). When you input your details we create you a free account, so you only have to enter your details once. It also allows you to keep track of your outstanding cases via our unique online system.

The LBA explains to your customer that the outstanding invoice has been passed to us for collection, and that court action will be taken if the outstanding amount is not paid within 7 days. After 7 days we will contact you to find out whether or not the debt has been paid to you. If it has, great, we won’t charge you a penny more. If not, we will discuss the next steps with you, which would typically involve moving to ‘No Recovery, No Fee’.
